“Mm, Freya answered.

Before Grandma could say anything more, she saw that Mattes was also getting ready in a pain diang

Grandma had hoped that something would happen hetween them, but seeing the distance between fien I wa clear that nothing had.

She sighed, disappointed.

“I just got a call from a friend who’s here for treatment. I need to go back for a bit. You two say and enjoy yourselves,” Grandma said, patting Freya’s hand and turning to Mattes. No hullying Mag, gur

Matteo simply nodded, “Got it.”

At that moment, another elevator door opened, and Levi stepped out.

Seeing him, Freya was a little surprised. She hadn’t expected him to be at the hot spring resort.

However, neither Grandma nor Matteo seemed surprised. It was clear they were already aware that Levi had came

to the resort.

When Levi saw Freya, he raised an eyebrow, then turned to Grandma and greeted her affectionately, “Grandma you’re leaving already? Don’t you want to stay for lunch before going?”

The Davis and Wilson families had a good relationship. Grandma Wilson had watched Levis grow up, so she responded with a kind smile, “No need, no need. You all have fun.”

The group of them saw Grandma off. After the car drove off, Isabella immediately cheerfully asked. “Uncle Leri what brings you here?

Levi bent down and lightly pinched Isabella’s soft, fair cheek, “Your father asked me to come. I greeted Grandma Wilson, then came straight over. How’s that? Uncle Levi is loyal, right?”

“Oh, so Dad sent you here?” she asked, understanding

“Yeah,” Levi smiled and continued,

“I heard your great–grandmother is leaving, so I notified Uncle Harry and Aunt Raven. They’re on their way here and will be arriving shortly. Are you happy about that?”

When he said this, Levi deliberately glanced at Freya.

Freya noticed and realized that his words were meant specifically for her.

Isabella, of course, was happy to hear that. She was about to nod when she hesitated, suddenly aware that Freya was there. She looked up at her.

Freya pretended not to see and, gently ruffling Isabella’s hair, said, “You all have fun. I’ll go back to my room now.

After saying this, she didn’t even glance at Matteo or Levi. She simply turned and left.

Watching Freya leave, Matteo noticed her cold expression. There was no trace of the concern and unease she had shown when she learned that Raven was coming. It seemed she was no longer bothered by it at all.

Isabella was still there, so Matteo couldn’t speak openly. He leaned closer to Levi and lowered his voice, asking, “What’s going on?”

Matteo’s tone didn’t change. He asked, “Did you come alone?”

“Of course not. Who would come alone to such a good event like soaking in hot springs? I naturally brought my precious little one along!” Levi grinned as he spoke.

Before he could finish, he paused, turned his head toward Matteo, and said, “Wait a minute, you’re changing the subject.”

Matteo didn’t deny it. He simply said, “Your precious one has arrived.”

As he finished speaking, a tall and curvaceous woman wearing nothing but a bikini under her open bathrobe walked toward them.

Back in her room, Freya had changed into her regular clothes and was sitting at a small round table, opening her laptop to delve deeper into the exhibits from the recent tech exhibition.

Half an hour later, combining the research she had gathered during this time, she suddenly had an idea. She picked up her phone and called Johnny. “Are you free?”

“I’m at a masquerade party, what’s up?” Johnny answered.
