“Got it.” Isabella waved at Freya and went inside with the butler.

Freya watched them, turned the car around, and drove away.

After Isabella entered the house, she asked the butler, “Where’s Daddy?”

“He should be in the study.”

Isabella went upstairs and found the study door open. At that moment, Matteo’s tall figure was leaning against the window, looking out, as if smoking a cigarette.

Isabella said, “Mommy had something to do, so she left right after coming back.”
