"If you talk nonsense again, I'll send you back to school tomorrow!" Athena glared at Logan.
Logan was not afraid. He groaned and said, "Anyway, it's going to be a holiday soon. I'll just come back again if you send me back!"
Athena shook her head helplessly.
At this time, Athena caught a glimpse of Byron taking two big bags of junk food and putting them into the shopping cart.
She put them back on the shelf without hesitation.
"Aiden, Mia is already overweight, so she can't eat these anymore," Athena said helplessly to Aiden.
"It's been so long since she ate these," Aiden answered, then negotiated with Athena, "Just one bag?"
"After buying this, I won't buy desserts. You choose." Athena spread her hands, leaving the decision to Aiden.
Aiden sighed helplessly. "Dessert, then."
"Very good."
Athena gave Aiden a thumbs up.
In order to avoid Aiden and Byron buying some weird things while she was not paying attention again, Athena stopped messing around with Logan.
She paid close attention to the two of them.
In the end, Aiden and Byron exchanged looks tacitly, feeling a little helpless.
After buying desserts, Athena took some snacks and ended the shopping trip.
After leaving the supermarket, Byron carried Aiden down.
Carrying the bag in one hand and holding Aiden's hand in the other, he headed toward the car.
Athena and Logan walked behind them, as usual.
"Since when are Byron and Aiden so close?" Logan was shocked.
Athena hid the depression in her eyes and said thoughtfully. "They never really didn't get along well. In the past, they just... didn't know each other."
"Hmph!"
After Byron fastened the seat belt for Aiden, he also got into the car.
The supermarket was not far from Athena's house, and they arrived in no time.
Byron parked the car.
While unfastening her seat belt, Athena said to Byron, "Mia probably doesn't know you were coming, so I'll go and talk to her first. I can't keep you for dinner if she doesn't want to see you."
Byron was silent for a while and then said to Athena in a muffled voice. "Tell her that I didn't do it on purpose that day, and I won't be so harsh to you again in the future."
"I did," Athena replied.
There was a little panic in Byron's eyes. "Then what should I do?"
Athena seldom saw him like this, so she raised her eyebrows slightly. "Let's take it slow. What else can you do? Who asked you to lose your temper and scold me?"
Byron was speechless.
