"Father."
Byron called out coldly.
Julian froze.
"I'm still recovering from a serious injury. My Babe told me not to worry about everything. I don't want to waste my time talking with you about Lola's inheritance. If you are unwilling, I can send you to prison with the evidence of your crimes over the years..."
"Byron Crawford!"
Julian roared in shock.
Staff around looked at them suspiciously.
"Okay! Alright, you did it! You are ruthless!!" Julian was about to leave after speaking.
But Byron's bodyguards stopped him.
Julian turned back. "What do you mean?"
"You have to go back with me. I need you to play your role as a husband and deeply mourn my mother at the funeral." Byron said slowly.
"You..."
Byron didn't look at Julian again.
The screen showed that Lola had been pushed into the cremation furnace.
Byron stood upright, like a lonely tree growing on a cliff in the cold wind.
After a while, Byron lowered his head and looked at the screen saver on his phone.
He looked at the person on the screen saver and wanted to go home, the home with her.
The cremation was over.
Lola was arrogant when she was alive. Now her ashes were packed into a box. Byron did not touch the box.
"Sorry." Byron insisted.
Freya never expected this to happen.
Byron changed. In the past, Byron would manage to come to Freya immediately as long as Freya showed a pitiful look.
"I don't have to return by the same plane with you. I can afford a plane ticket. Byron, do you know Chelsea has been sending people to follow me?" Freya looked at Byron with red eyes and an extremely sad look.
"First, it's not stalking. Second, I sent them to follow you. Your brother is missing, and the reason why your mother dies is unknown. Both Chelsea and I are worried about your safety." Byron replied.
"Did your people follow me to Singapore?" Freya asked with a sneer.
Byron frowned.
"Forget it. Anyway, you will find all kinds of excuses for Ms. Stella no matter what happens now, even if she kills me." Freya smiled sadly. "I thought what you said you would always protect me was true, but I didn't expect... I found the wrong person. So sorry. Goodbye!"
