"Lisa Young, don't you remember that we went to the debate together? That time in Dambridge... You were on the opposing side, and I was on the supporting side." Lisa was clearly disappointed.
Having heard that, Aron seemed to have remembered something, but it was vague.
"Sorry, my memory is not very good," Aron replied.
Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at Evie.
Ah, very good.
His wife did not mind him talking to other women at all and was already making faces at the dog.
"This is?" Lisa looked at Evie, "Your elder sister?"
Evie was speechless.
She looked much younger than people her age!
What elder sister?
"She's my wife."
Aron spoke, held Evie's hand, and introduced her with gentle eyes.
Lisa was bewildered.
"You're married? Why haven't I heard anyone mention it? When did it happen?" she asked with a smile.
Aron replied, "We just got married, and only relatives and friends know it. I will notify everyone when the wedding ceremony is officially held."
Evie's heart was beating rapidly.
This was not the first time Aron had introduced her to others openly.
But Evie felt amazing every time.
After all, her only relationship before marriage was always hidden.
Therefore, she had forgotten that a normal relationship should be open.
"Hi, Ms. Young. My name is Evie Cross." Evie introduced herself generously.
Lisa smiled. "Evie. Hmm, a very good name. You're a very sweet girl."
"You are beautiful too," Evie replied.
"Alright, I shall not disturb you two from strolling. I'm going home with the dog." Lisa waved.
Evie subconsciously held Aron's hand and gave way.
Then, she waved to the golden retriever who was looking at her and said goodbye with her lips.
She coughed lightly and responded, "Alright."
Aron was so happy that he could not hide his smile at all.
"That young lady is from Dambridge? That's amazing." Evie looked for a topic.
Aron smiled helplessly. "Well, I admit, I don't remember who she is."
Evie was shocked.
"Such a good-looking person, and you have played a debate match with her, but you can't remember her face? She recognized you from a long distance away!"
Aron looked at her.
He suddenly remembered that when he investigated Evie, her classmate commented on her. "First of all, she's straight. She doesn't feel strongly about handsome guys, but she loves beautiful girls!"
"Is she good-looking?" Aron said lightly. "Didn't think so."
"You don't think she is?" Evie recalled Lisa's face, her perfect volume of hair that could be seen even with a ponytail, and her amazing figure.
"Not as good-looking as you," Aron replied.
Evie continued to be shocked.
