Chapter 20
After Natalie finished speaking to Felix, she turned and walked towards Blake.
Suddenly, a car revved its engine and sped straight towards Natalie.
With the eyes of an eagle, Blake quickly ran to Natalie and embraced her, rolling to the side.
Felix got closer, but missed and was run over by the car.
When he fell, he was still reaching out his hand and shouting, “Natalie…”
He then raised the corners of his mouth again, laughing bitterly.
Before losing consciousness, his only thought was that he had completely lost.
Despite being closer to Natalie than Blake, he still couldn’t save her.
Just like his love, even though he had Natalie who loved him so much, he pushed her away.
Natalie was terrified, and she jumped in fright when she saw Felix looking like that.
Blake helped her up and immediately dialed emergency and police numbers.
Felix’s injuries looked very serious, and no one dared to touch him.
On the other side, the driver who caused the accident had already been dragged out of the car by the bodyguards.
It was Mabel after all!
“Natalie, you are so lucky! Two men wanted to protect you.”
“Why couldn’t I just kill you?”
Mabel grinned ferociously, speaking through gritted teeth.
She hated everyone.
After being burned, Rory managed to get her released from custody so she could receive treatment.
During that time, only Rory brought the lawyer to the hospital room to see her once.
There was no half–hearted concern, only a demand for her not to speak out of turn and bite Felix. She must bite the bullet and sign the forgiveness letter voluntarily, including all the harm Felix had done to Eddie in the villa, which will not be pursued.
She asked why.
Rory shouted at her, “Even if you want to die, don’t drag the Jefferson family down with you. All the business that was previously done with the Harrison family has been stopped. The Jefferson family is now in trouble, and do you really want to see all of them dead before you’re satisfied?”
“If you don’t agree, I will throw your wild seed to his father!”
She laughed until tears came out of her eyes.
It was her father who forced her to accept that hairpin in the first place, pretending to be Fe- lix’s mother’s benefactor. Since then, the Jefferson family has been riding high on the power of the Harrison family. Now that the truth has come out, she is being blamed for Felix’s re-venge.
