My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 17

H —e should have dealt with her after eating, but he still had businesses to deal with.

It was his principle not to delay businesses because of a woman.

Alice held her empty stomach, and looked at the empty bowl on the table in a daze.

He did not like cilantro, yet he ate it all.

That was a whole pot of soup. Was he a bigbelly? She had only had two mouthfuls of it.

"Miss Clyne, you have been in Cullen family for so long. Don't you miss your baby after not seeing him for so long?"

"No, I really don't have a baby. It's the same if I say it a hundred times. I really never had a baby."

After another whole day of interrogation, Lity rubbed her aching head as she got up from the polygraph chair.

"Miss Clyne, are you alright?"

Daniel closed the interrogation documents in his hands, and looked at Lity worriedly with a pair of wrinkled eyes.

"It would be nice if you didn't ask me these boring questions every day." Lity hated William, but she could not hate Daniel, the kind old housekeeper. She shook her head to clear her mind, and only after a while did she ask again, "Butler Frank, when can I leave?"

If this continued, she was afraid that she would really be driven crazy.

"Miss Clyne, I've told you before, as long as you are obedient to young master."

"But.."

"Young Master was just furious again, and thought that the snacks served were not good, so why don't you make some? I heard he drank a lot of soup last time."

Alice was silent, but her face was full of unwillingness.

Seeing that, Daniel spoke sincerely, "As long as young master is in a good mood, he will listen to more of what you say."

As long as he was in a good mood, would he let her go?

Or try again?
