Amadeus took his family members and went to each of the other families in Hattan. He begged them for help. Yet, everyone rejected them cruelly. With banks refusing their loan applications, the Dhillon family was desperate.

“Did you ever consider that this might happen when you insulted Dustin? Dustin can ruin our family with just a word. Our family’s business functioned for more than 150 years and survived through three generations!”

Wearing a dark expression, Kendall remained silent.

He had become the family’s most hated person. For the past few days, all he had been getting was dirty looks. The members of his family wanted to cripple him and send him to Dustin in apology to beg for mercy.

Sadly, that would do nothing to help. It was clear that Dustin wanted to destroy the Dhillon family. There was no way out of it.

“I can’t afford to offend him? That might not be…” Kendall muttered. “A coyote could chew off its own leg in desperation. I can do better. I’m not afraid of him! I can be just as ruthless!”
