All the Yeager family members stared at Dustin and waited for him to continue.
If he were just bragging, he would have to pay for what he said.
‘Dustin, oh Dustin, I didn’t expect you to paint yourself into a corner like this. You saved me the trouble,’ Alex thought happily.
He was sure that Dustin would not be able to prove anything, and what awaited him would be Zack’s anger and the harsh rejection from the family.
Patricia would also be dragged into this, and soon, both of them would be kicked out of the family.
‘When the time comes, I’ll do whatever it takes to torment and kill you,’ Alex thought as he stared at Dustin. He was already imagining the scenes in his mind.
With everyone watching, Dustin remained calm. Not a hint of panic showed on his face.
“You’ve all heard about Mayhill Peony Garden, right?” Dustin calmly asked.
“Mayhill Peony Garden?” Everyone was briefly stunned.
It had caused a lot of buzz recently. Mayhill Peony Garden was being called a miracle, and its fame was growing fast.
“What? Are you saying that was your doing?” Zack asked mockingly.
“Yes, I made it happen.” Dustin nodded and acknowledged it.
“What?!” Everyone in the Yeager family, except Patricia, was shocked.
Mayhill Peony Garden was hailed as a miracle. It was something that could only be achieved with extraordinary efforts. Yet Dustin claimed he made it happen!
No one in the Yeager family, or even all of Hattan, had the power to do such a thing.
Dustin’s words left the entire Yeager family stunned.
“Impossible! Even we couldn’t do that! How could a useless guy like you make it happen?! You’re lying!” Alex refused to believe it.
“Look at yourself. You’re still trying to live off the Yeager family. You couldn’t even afford to fix up the pig farm, yet you claim that you built Mayhill Peony Garden? At least make your lies believable. Have some shame!”
“Yeah, he’s definitely lying!”
“There’s no way he can do something like that. What a joke!”
No one in the Yeager family believed Dustin. They were convinced he was lying.
“After disrespecting us, now you’re trying to fool everyone? You’ve got some nerve, Dustin.” Zack’s eyes turned cold and menacing.
“Maybe I couldn’t do it alone,” Dustin said calmly. “But someone else made it happen for me.”
“What do you mean?” Zack frowned.
“Someone wants to do a big development and talked to me about it. I plan to tear down Mayhill Pig Farm and rebuild it into an ecotourism site based on Mayhill Peony Garden,” Dustin said. “The garden is already famous. With further improvements, it will definitely become a famous landmark and a top tourist spot. The benefits that will come with it are clear, and I don’t think I need to explain further.”
“You’re just daydreaming!” Zack immediately shot Dustin down.
“Let’s not talk about how far Mayhill is and how hard it is to get there. Developing the whole area is nearly impossible. The Yeager family only has rights to that small pig farm. Do you even have the money to buy or rent more land?
