Goodbye, Mr. Regret novel Chapter 362

"All of this is just wishful thinking on your part. You might believe your relationship is something extraordinary, earth-shattering even, but honestly, it has absolutely nothing to do with me. I'm busy and have no interest in listening to your pointless drama."

With a dismissive wave, Jessica turned on her heel and headed for the elevator.

Sheila watched her walk away, mind churning—was Jessica truly this indifferent, or was it just an act?

Jessica’s cool expression certainly seemed genuine.

But Timothy was such a good man—could she really let him go so easily?

No matter how she tried to convince herself, Sheila still had doubts.

If Jessica was refusing to even talk to her alone, she clearly cared about what was going on between Sheila and Timothy.

As long as she and Timothy maintained their closeness, Jessica would never forgive him.

With that thought, Sheila finally left.

Back at her apartment, Jessica settled at her desk and began reading through the script Mr. Smith had given her.

After all the delays, she finally had a chance to really dig into the material.

Time slipped by, and before she knew it, it was already noon.

Just then, her phone buzzed with a video call.

It was Carlisle.

Jessica quickly answered, propping up her phone. Carlisle greeted her and explained that their film was now in the dubbing phase. He was reaching out to theaters and working on marketing and investment.

"How much are you thinking for the marketing budget?"

"I really believe in this movie," Carlisle signed. "I’m thinking we put in half the production cost for promotion. I wanted to see what you think."

Both of them were fluent in sign language, their conversation a quick, seamless exchange of gestures.
