Goodbye, Mr. Regret novel Chapter 118

"Yeah, that's fine."

Timothy's tone was cool and detached.

Sheila lowered her eyes, a hint of disappointment flickering across her face. "If you think there's anything that needs fixing, just let me know. There's still time to make changes."

"Don't overthink it," he replied. "There's nothing wrong. Honestly, it's flawless."

Her skill and talent spoke for themselves—most people couldn't have pulled off something this impressive. Some things, like talent and intuition, just can't be learned through hard work alone.

Sheila finally felt her mood start to lift.

She smiled. "Timothy, why don't we get our things together and head over to the expo? Is that okay?"

Timothy glanced at his watch and nodded.

Together, they left the house and headed for the hotel where Jessica was staying. On the way, Timothy called the local branch office to have a car sent over.

The night before, he'd arranged for the boutique he frequented to deliver a few suits for him. He'd booked Sheila a separate room and asked her to bring their luggage upstairs, while he waited for her in the lobby.

He picked up the brooch at the front desk, then went up to Jessica's room. He rang the bell, but no one answered.

Just as he was about to call Jessica, a housekeeper emerged from a neighboring room.

"Excuse me, sir, are you looking for the guest in this room?"

"Yes."

"I saw her leave about half an hour ago."

Timothy slipped his phone back into his pocket and thanked her politely.
