Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1763

Charlie looked up at Kya, his eyes shifting from shock to surprise. Seeing her clear, bright eyes, he felt as if a light was shining into his life, dispelling all the gloom and darkness within him.

His heart raced as he rasped, "Noreen, can you step out for a moment?"

"What?" Noreen looked at Charlie, puzzled.

"Please step out." Charlie's voice was barely a whisper, but it was still compelling.

Noreen hesitated, then nodded reluctantly, "Alright, I'll wait outside."

Once she left, only Charlie and Kya remained in the room.

Charlie stood up and crouched down in front of Kya. He gently stroked her soft cheek, his eyes filled with unshed tears.

Ever since Charlie entered the room, Kya hadn't been scared. She looked at Charlie, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, "Uncle?"

"I'm your dad." Charlie's voice choked as he held her little face in his hand, "I'm your dad!"

Kya blinked, looking at him with a confused expression.

"Honey, you're my daughter." Charlie's voice trembled with emotion, his heart filled with a tumultuous mix of feelings.

He pulled Kya into his arms, holding her tiny, soft body tightly. The emptiness he had felt for so long was finally filled.

Kya leaned against Charlie's shoulder, gently patting it. In her innocent voice, she asked, "Uncle Charlie, did you miss me? I missed you too. Why didn't you come see me? Did you have a fight with Mom?"

Charlie's throat tightened, and he had to swallow hard before he could speak. "We will never be separated again."

Kya's eyes lit up, and she broke into a childish smile.

Charlie picked up Kya and dialed Emily's number on his phone.

After one ring, Emily answered. "Charlie."
