Mark frowned. “The world is big. You should explore it. This company isn’t a good fit for you. My wife won’t be happy.”
So, this was all to make Arianne happy?
Janice gritted her teeth angrily, but it couldn’t be helped.
Seeing this, Davy spoke up. “Let’s go. Mr. Tremont has work to do.”
Janice took a deep breath, nodded at Mark, then left. Arianne… One day, she would make her pay!
…
Mark returned to the Tremont Estate at 5PM. Arianne was giving Aristotle a bath. Tiffany had left with Plato. They were too rambunctious during playtime in the courtyard this afternoon, so Aristotle was covered in mud.
“I’m just about to take a shower. I’ll wash him,” Mark offered, seeing her drenched in sweat. “Go and rest.”
Arianne accepted the offer. She had been taking care of Aristotle all day. She was exhausted.
