Before I could answer, Lauren chimed in, "Yes, that Nicholas. He used to be Arthur's secretary's driver. Later, he got into trouble and even got into a massive car accident. Grayson cryptically said, "Let's talk about the big twist in your classmate's situation. Your classmate might not actually be suffering from a mental illness and was possibly set up." Lauren also sat down, eager to hear more. She looked at Grayson with anticipation.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and gasped.
"What do you mean? Are you saying that Beatrice might not actually have a mental illness?"
Lauren was also getting excited.
Grayson nodded solemnly. "It seems that way, although it's just our speculation. Based on the information we've gathered so far, Beatrice might not be sick at all."
Lauren urged him, "Go on, tell us!"
I couldn't believe my ears and looked at Grayson. He walked over, pulled out the chair in front of me, and sat down.
"Based on the information we found, the Chandler family has a prominent position in Gerby. They have a company that produces cables, which is doing quite well, with many orders for export. They also have a dairy business."
I nodded, knowing as much. Beatrice was indeed very privileged back then.
