He said with a resigned tone, "It's to discuss the project."

I feigned ignorance, asking, "What project? I'm not here to collaborate with others this time. Sorry about that."

Irritated, Jeremiah clicked his tongue. I knew he was cursing me under his breath.

He felt compelled to clarify, "It's about the project you wanted to finalize today."
