Seeing Jared prepare to unleash an internal flame, Rainier let out a mocking laugh. “Internal flame? Don't think for a second that it could harm me in the slightest,” he sneered.

Jared didn't pay him any mind, instead, the flame in his palm grew increasingly intense.

Strangely enough, Jared's flame was soaring, yet the surrounding temperature was plummeting rapidly.

It seemed as if the world itself had become frozen in time, even the continuously falling snowflakes were now suspended mid-air, utterly motionless.
