“Mr. Mulligan is right. That young man was far too powerful earlier. Despite being merely a Sixth Level Tribulator, he demonstrated such formidable strength. Apart from the vast power of Allardland, I have no idea who else could nurture such a prodigy!” a disciple from Sky Slasher Sect exclaimed.
“Exactly. As a Sixth Level Tribulator, he managed to put Mr. Leary at a disadvantage with a single move. That alone is enough to prove that this kid is not ordinary.”
“Stop dwelling on those thoughts. We need to find Mr. Lund and the others as soon as possible!”
After finishing his words, Ventus commanded the spirit ship to set sail swiftly.
At that moment, Jared and his companions were steering their dilapidated spirit ship, steadily making their way toward the small island.
Inside the cabin, all the alchemists were drenched in sweat. Had the members of Sky Slasher Sect forcefully barged in moments earlier, they would have undoubtedly been discovered, completely exposing them. That would have inevitably led to a fierce battle.
Luckily, Jared intervened just in time. Coupled with Carlo's knack for persuasion, they managed to send the members of Sky Slasher Sect on their way.
With lingering fear in his heart, Wyatt turned to Jared and asked, “Mr. Chance, what's our next move? Are we still heading to that small island? It seems that little island is probably fraught with danger, too!”
“Of course, we're going. We've already taken out a good number of people from Sky Slasher Sect. Plus, we've got a lot of reinforcements now. I believe there won't be many people left on that island. We're perfectly poised to take over the small island right now and gain complete control over it. Once we take over that small island, we'll have the upper hand,” Jared explained.
“Mr. Chance is right. We only have this one path to follow. Moreover, we are certain that there won't be too many from Sky Slasher Sect on the small island.”
Even Hartwin agreed with Jared's perspective.
Once everyone had reached an agreement, the spirit ship headed toward the small island.
As Ventus and the others drew closer to the storm-prone sea area, the massive tempest continued its relentless roar.
Ventus dared not let the spirit ship go too close. He merely conducted a search in the vicinity and found no trace of any other spirit ships in the surrounding area.
It was important to note that the spirit ship Aaron brought was incredibly massive. It was filled with numerous arcane arrays, and, by all accounts, wouldn't be easily destroyed by the storm.
“Mr. Mulligan, we've found no trace of Mr. Lund's spirit ship in the vicinity. I'm not sure if it really got drawn into the storm,” Archibald said to Ventus.
“Logically speaking, it shouldn't have happened. Mr. Lund is no stranger to this place. How could he possibly be unaware of the storm's power, let alone get sucked into it?” Ventus furrowed his brows. He couldn't comprehend what was happening.
