“Mr. Lund, we won't venture too far off, just taking a casual stroll really. If we encounter any formidable demon beasts, we'll come right back!”
As Wyatt spoke, he shot Jared and Hartwin a subtle glance, and then, all three of them sprang up.
Soon after, the young man beside Aaron went after them, accompanied by two cultivators.
Noticing their movements, a displeased Wyatt demanded, “What are you following me for?”
“Oh, Mr. Lund was worried about your safety, so he had us guard you!” the young man said quickly.
“We don't need protection, you can go back!” Wyatt instructed the group to leave.
However, no one paid him any heed. Wherever they went, the young man would follow.
“President Chance, let them tag along. Let's see if they can keep up!”
After Jared finished speaking, he immediately took hold of Wyatt and Hartwin. Utilizing his Blazing Stride, they vanished in an instant without a trace.
At that moment, the young man was completely dumbfounded. He had never seen such speed before!
With Jared and the others gone, the young man had no choice but to bring the cultivators back to the ship.
Aaron, upon seeing the young man return without Jared's group, asked with a hint of confusion. “Why are you back? Where are the others?”
“Mr. Lund, those guys were too fast. They vanished in the blink of an eye. We simply couldn't keep up. It seems like these guys are starting to suspect us. Looks like we'll have to make the first move,” the young man observed out loud.
“What? Even you couldn't catch up with them?”
Aaron's brow furrowed slightly as he added, “It seems there are experts among them. It's fine if those three have escaped, as long as the rest haven't.”
“Come with me,” he commanded, “we can't let these people escape any longer. We need to take control of the situation first!”
Aaron led his people toward the ship's cabin.
In truth, after Wyatt's warning, everyone in the cabin had become wary of Aaron and his men.
