A Reborn Bride Pearl Emerging from Dust novel Chapter 631

Once Calliope had confirmed everything with Horatio, she went off to prep for surgery. She’d brought along her own set of scalpels and specialized tools, but she also borrowed a few things from the hospital’s supply room.

Before long, the hospital director himself came by to meet her.

This was the first time anyone had attempted such a complicated operation at this hospital, and Horatio’s legs were a real mess—one of those cases where most doctors couldn’t even figure out what was wrong, let alone fix it.

The director took this surgery very seriously. He hesitated, then asked Calliope, “Would you mind if I had a group of colleagues observe your procedure from outside the OR?”

Calliope shrugged. After all, she was known as the Miracle Doctor for a reason, and she had plenty of faith in herself.

Horatio’s condition was rare—very few surgeons would even attempt this. But the more doctors who understood the procedure, the better. If they learned something, they could help others in the future.

“I don’t mind,” she told the director, flashing a confident smile. “As long as nobody gets in my way.”

“Don’t worry,” the director replied. “They’ll be watching via livestream, not in the room. I just want the orthopedic specialists to see your technique.”

He honestly couldn’t hide his excitement.

“Sounds good,” Calliope said, nodding. “I really don’t mind.”

“Perfect, thank you so much!” He grinned at her. He knew this was a big deal. Calliope’s methods were practically legendary, and letting other people watch was a generous move. She could easily keep her techniques to herself, but here she was, willing to share.

“I don’t see the harm,” Calliope said. “If anyone watching is talented enough to pick it up, that’s great. If they have questions, they can ask me.”

“You’re not worried they’ll steal your thunder?” the director asked, half-joking.
