The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1896

Having settled the matter of his proposal at the end of their wedding, Byran scampered off gleefully to make his plans.

Ellinor, watching her half-brother disappear into the distance, nudged the man beside her with her elbow. "Theo, did you hear that? The guy is preparing a diamond the size of a pigeon's egg for his proposal! What did you prepare for me?"

Lowering his gaze to his beloved, Theo replied, "Why don't you check your assets?"

Ellinor, who wasn't particularly fond of diamonds, was only teasing him. She hadn't expected he'd actually prepared something!

So, she immediately checked her assets and found that that very morning, she'd become the owner of the largest diamond mine on Zahariya Plateau!

Ellinor half-smirked, "Theo, you..."

With a loving scratch to her cheek, Theo replied, "I know you don't like wearing such things, so I thought you could have a mine instead. You could dig around for fun? I bought it for you as a wedding gift with my own money. Besides that, I'm broke. Didn't I give it all to you?"

Ellinor pouted, "Wait, you had a secret stash of money?"

"Well...not anymore!"

...

On the wedding day, all of Greenhaven was buzzing. The Blanchet family's Theo was marrying a lesser-known Miss. The two pledged their eternal love before the pastor, vowing to never part till death.

The entire nation’s business and social elites attended the wedding to offer their blessings.

What the guests didn't expect was the surprise at the end of the ceremony: the young heir of the Howard family, Byran, proposed to the President of the Crescent Society, Ida.

Ida wished she could sink into the ground - no, she wished she could shove Byran into the ground!

After what felt like an eternity, the kiss ended.

Byran, still not sated, whispered, “Ida, my sister and Theo will go on their honeymoon with the kids, touring the world. Let’s join them, shall we?”

Ida, still gasping for breath and feeling a bit suffocated from the kiss, retorted with a flushed face. "Haven't you played the third wheel enough? I'm not going. I don't have the time!"

Byran whined, hugging her tighter. "Even without us, there's no lack of third wheels between my sister and Theo! Those four kids are even more attention-grabbing than us! If we go, we can help take care of the kids! Let's go! You can leave the company to Chase. You guys are close. You're not afraid he's going to usurp your position, are you?"

"No...umm..."

Before she could even finish her sentence, Byran was at it again, leaving no room for argument.
