Married at First Sight (Serenity and Zachary) novel Chapter 5030

Married at First Sight Chapter 5030
“Don’t overthink it. President Zhan only has eyes for Vice President Lan. He’s the young master of the richest family in Dongguan, a multi-billion dollar family. He’s also very capable; Yangtai is the best proof of his ability.”
“He’s a prodigy, not someone we ordinary people can even dream of.”
Romina’s secretary, being experienced, reminded her younger sister not to be infatuated. No matter how good
President Zhan is, he’s not for them. The younger sister said, “I know, I was just marveling. Coming to work here, I realized there really are such handsome and young CEOs in real life.”
“While CEOs in novels and TV shows are all young and handsome, I know that
90% of CEOs in reality are older and can’t possibly be as handsome as idol stars.”

“After meeting President Zhan, I believe there really are such handsome, capable, well-connected, and devoted CEOs in real life.”
“They exist, but they’re very rare.”
Even if they did, they wouldn’t meet them.
“That’s right, multi-billion dollar families are rare. Our Vice President Lan is truly fortunate.”
The secretary said, “Our Vice President Lan is also very outstanding; many bosses dream of her.”
It’s just that they don’t think about it.
The Lan Group’s status in Yangcheng was undeniable; few dared to covet Romina.
Romina herself was a strong woman, and she feared no one.

The unspoken rules of the business world were useless against her; anyone who dared to lay a finger on the eldest daughter of the Lan family was practically courting death. “Go back to work,” the secretary urged her junior secretary to leave.
The junior secretary took the signed documents and left.
A while later, Merissa emerged from the vice president’s office. Romina
was still busy, and he didn’t want to keep taking up her time. If she couldn’t finish her work and needed to work overtime that night, she wouldn’t be able to go on a date with him—it wouldn’t be worth it.
After leaving the Lan Group, Merissa returned to his company.
Chang Xiao, seeing him return, acted as if he’d been saved, dumping all the work on Merissa and then fleeing the company like his life depended on it, ignoring Merissa’s shouts.
He was exhausted from working overtime every day, entertaining clients, and negotiating business deals.
He wanted to rest before Merissa and Romina’s wedding.
Once they were married and on their honeymoon, he’d be back at the company like a beast of burden, working himself to death.
“Runs faster than a rabbit,”
Merissa chuckled, unable to stop Chang Xiao.
“So unwilling to work, so unwilling to manage things, yet you were so enthusiastic about starting this business.”
He created Yangtai, which failed miserably, and he saved it, but Chang Xiao, the founder, acted as if it had nothing to do with him.
All he did was ask Chang Xiao to come to the company every day and do some work, and he acted like the sky had fallen and landed on him.

“This is the most irresponsible founder I’ve ever seen,”
Merissa resignedly sat back down at his desk.
After reviewing two documents, Grandma sent him a picture.
It was a new auspicious date chosen for him and Romina by a master’s apprentice—who could also be called a master—Grandma had asked.
The betrothal ceremony was in three days, which happened to be a Saturday.
The wedding was in twenty days. For others, this might be a bit rushed, but for Merissa, who had everything prepared, it felt a little late. He wished it could be earlier.
However, he didn’t bother choosing.
The date chosen by that powerful master’s apprentice couldn’t be bad; it was perfect for him and Romina.
