"Phew!"

Anastasia lowered her sword and wiped her sweat.

"That should be enough for today! I’m not built for this... haa."

Sometimes she wondered if she was truly the one that gave birth to Atticus. Though she was not small during her peak time, she was the farthest thing from a training maniac.

The sudden impact threw her off balance. Anastasia shot back from the door, gripping her blade tightly.

Two shadows spilled out from her, and formed into Arya and Yotad.

"Arya! What’s going on?"

"That was an explosion. We must get you to safety, my lady!" Yotad said, drawing his weapon.

"No. We need to understand the situation first."

Despite the crisis, Anastasia didn’t show a hint of fear. The training room was crafted by Atticus himself. If the threat outside was greater than they could handle, there was no place safer.

She moved over to the training room’s control terminal and tapped on it a few times. A large screen showing the live footage of the outside appeared.

"W-what is this..."

Four figures appeared on the screen, rampaging around the hill. The mansion outside had turned into rubble, along with many other buildings around.

"Aren’t they..." Yotad muttered, growing pale.

’The leaders of the other worlds.’

They had watched the concord games and had seen the leaders. However, there was a single fact that made their pulse jump.

"Paragons..." Anastasia muttered.

"My lady..." Arya moved to stand by her, showing a determined expression. She didn’t need to speak, but Anastasia understood the look.

’I’ll protect you. Don’t be afraid.’

"Arya..."

If not for the situation, she would laugh. They weren’t talking about normal threats. These were paragons. Comparing grandmasters to them was like comparing a god to an ant.

Arya and Yotad paled, but still managed to maintain their composure.

"What now?" Yotad asked.

"We stay here," Anastasia said.

"And await our end?"

"There’s no other option."

Outside, a roar shook the entire hill.

"Where the hell is this bitch!?"

Neresa’s arms blurred in front of her, every motion unleashing attacks that devastated the hill. Buildings were reduced to rubble, and a wave of fire and smoke rose to the skies.

"Maybe she’s not here?" Rehn Valker shrugged. He walked behind the group with his arms folded behind his head like he was taking a stroll.

"No." Caelus growled. "The three assured us that she’ll be here."

"Maybe they were wrong?"
